Ever Since the weather has changed all the mummy's are worried about their kids getting Cough, cold, stomach upset.
Many moms are seemed asking the same question how to treat it every now and then.
So here I am listing few Home Remedies For your little munchkins , and hoping that they all get well soon and happy like before.
Home remedies are always my first choice because cold and cough medicine make babies drowsy and a BIG NO to ANTIBIOTICS as these are usually viral and get resolved on its own. Doctor Consultation is a MUST if there is non subsiding Fever , Wheezing , Chest retractions and any other complain.
Few remedies that worked for us are:
🥶 Steam after massaging works wonders. It helps in congested nose and chest, giving instant relief. If you add few drops of nilgiri oil in steam will work fast.

For steam, you can take your baby and stand in the bathroom with a hot shower on or if the baby is big enough then use a pot of hot water with nilgiri or even ajwain in it.
🥶 Warm soup
🥶 Fresh Carrot juice / orange juice boosts immunity.
🥶 Mustard oil boiled with garlic pods, carom seeds massage feet, chest and back with this oil.
🥶 Roast carom seeds (ajwain) and put it in a muslin cloth.
The pouch should be placed near the baby so that the smoke emerging from within the pouch will help in providing relief to the baby. It will help clear the blockage and provide relief to the baby from breathing, nose blockage.
🥶 Keep baby away from anyone suffering from cold, cough or fever. For that matter even our sweet mummy's also should take care of her self too.
🥶 Use Eucalyptus Oil (nilgiri), just sprinkle 2-3 drops of it on the pillow or Baby’s shirt.
The most important is points to remember:
Keep baby close to you as your warmth helps baby to heal fast.
Your baby needs extra love and pampering when sick.
Try to spend more time with the baby and you shall see a fast recovery.
If you are a breastfeeding mom then maintain good diet , take multivitamins , use seasonal fruits and veggies in your diet.
