In Winter season children catches cold easily. So, we can avoid this by boosting their immunity. In this post am sharing list of food items which helps to boost immunity and cures cold with basic home remedies.
Betel leaf, Ajwain leaf and Garlic:
Garlic is a great source to improves immunity. I used to a blend betel leaf, an ajwain leaf and 3 garlic cloves with hot water then filter and give to my kids weekly twice or thrice specially in winter season
Immunity in Vegetables:
Tomato, Carrot, Beetroot are very well known for boosting immunity level. By taking these fresh vegetables regularly, it helps to increase the immunity as well as it prevents cold. You can give juice to your kids.
Cardamom powder with clarified butter (Pure Ghee):
Mix one spoon cardamom powder with one spoon ghee. Take this daily it helps to recover from cold.
Dry Ginger with Honey:
Dry ginger powder is very good for digestion and curing from cold. It is helpful in treating cold and cough. Dry ginger powder with honey helps to recover and release cold and cough from chest.
Pepper with Honey:
Take half spoon pepper powder and honey. Heat them and allow it crackle now add one glass water and boil till it became half. Taking this mixture daily helps to reduce cold and cough.
Honey with turmeric and dry ginger powder:
Take 1 spoon honey mixed with half spoon of dry ginger powder and half spoon turmeric powder. Mix it well and give to your kids everyday. This will help generate natural heat in body which will prevent them from cold and cough.
